Ablution facilities
Ablution facilities will be available. Pack a towel, toiletries and shower shoes.
What campers should bring
- A warm blanket and bedding — nights beside the water can become cool.
- Pillow, sleepwear and warm layers for the evening and early morning.
- Towel, soap, toiletries and shower shoes for the ablution facilities.
- Phone charger, power bank and a torch or headlamp.
- Reusable water bottle, sunscreen, hat and insect repellent.
- Personal medication and any small comfort items you need overnight.
- A secure bag for valuables and a refuse bag to help keep the campsite clean.
- Confirm what is included with your camping booking before arrival.
- Camping guests must remain within the designated camping area and comply with campsite safety instructions.
- No open fires, braais or gas equipment may be used unless specifically permitted in a designated area.
- Camping tickets for the Vaal Dam Spring Festival are sold out. Existing confirmed camping bookings remain valid.

A little care makes a great day for everyone.
Keep these essentials in mind, from the entrance to the water’s edge.
Safety & security
- No weapons or dangerous objects of any kind will be permitted onto the premises.
- No illegal substances.
- Security reserves the right to conduct reasonable bag, cooler-box and access checks.
- No fireworks, flares or other pyrotechnics.
- No fighting, threatening behaviour, harassment or excessive intoxication will be tolerated.
- Please follow all instructions from event security, marshals, lifeguards and emergency personnel.
Entry & wristbands
- Please wear your festival wristband at all times.
- Lost or damaged wristbands may not automatically be replaced.
- Tickets and wristbands may not be duplicated, copied or transferred after check-in.
Children & family
- Children must remain under the supervision of a responsible adult.
Restricted areas
- Please respect restricted, backstage, staff-only and Signature Experience areas.
- Access to The Signature Experience is limited to guests holding the appropriate ticket or wristband.
Waterfront safety
- Swimming and waterfront activities are only permitted in designated areas and subject to safety instructions.
- Do not enter the Vaal Dam from unauthorised areas.
Glass & waste
- No glass bottles or glass containers in high-traffic festival areas.
- Please use the bins and waste stations provided — help us protect the Vaal Dam.
Vendors & promotions
- No unauthorised selling, vending, promotions or distribution of marketing material.
Pets
- Pets are not permitted unless specifically authorised.
Parking
- Vehicles may only park in designated parking areas.
- Emergency and service routes must remain clear at all times.
Weather
- The festival is an outdoor event.
- Come prepared for changing weather conditions.
Conduct
- The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any person whose conduct threatens the safety or enjoyment of other guests.
